Within the RED II fuel framework, the project focusses on producing renewable fuels of non biological origin and fuels based on captured CO2.
We aim to show how CCU-based-molecules can enable transition in energy, chemistry and fuels.
Power to Methanol Antwerp is a CCU fuel lighthouse project and is in support of climate action plans.
THE SITE
INOVYN Lillo
The former Fuel Cell demo area on the INOVYN site in Lillo proved to be the plug & play site we needed.
Following the initial Joint Development phase, a consortium was established at the beginning of 2020 to facilitate the construction of the Power to Methanol demonstration plant by 2022.
